This client’s goal was to enjoy the amazing features this home has to offer, while still maintaining control of their views, privacy, lighting, and comfort. To achieve this, we installed custom motorized window treatments throughout.
The Living room and common areas feature Somfy Motorized solar shades in a white 3% open fabric. This offers daytime privacy, lighting and glare control, a clear daytime view of the ocean (even when the shades are drawn), and energy efficiency by blocking solar heat gain.
The master bedroom, guest bedroom and nursery feature elegant pinch pleat draperies in an exclusive sheer fabric by Shades By Design. These draperies were installed on a Somfy motorized drapery track. Behind these draperies, are Somfy motorized blackout shades which are perfect for darkening the room day or night for a nice relaxing rest.
These motorized shades and drapery are controlled via handheld remotes.
