Before Shades by Design came into the picture, the existing horizontal blinds on the yacht were creating quite a problem. When sailing, the blinds would not stay in place, from swinging, banging against the window and getting tangled, this was NOT the ideal way to cruise.
We revamped their existing window treatment by adding Somfy battery operated motors, new cable guides to keep the blinds in place, restrung the cord system for better tilt and opening/closing.
With their new window treatment system in place, swinging blinds are now an issue of the past for this captain.
